Rectangular plastic plates are now available for the most chic contemporary receptions.

And as far as elegant disposable dinnerware for any occassion, this works no matter what color or mix you use. Personally, I like to use one color but I have seen black and white alternated very artistically.

For centerpieces I like to use short rectangular containers filled with Carnations (not expensive) cut very short and densely packed..... the aroma fills the room and any single color works
